![]() So effectively I've had almost $800 stolen from me, from what I can tell. I never made a payment to Liberty for that much, nor did I authorize this, nor is there a "deposit" from Liberty to cancel that amount out to zero. ![]() I'm not sure why $788 was removed from my account. The funding reversal for $788 is still there. Now I have logged in again to this card, and remembered this happening, so I went to check the April statement. It was a really horrible time, one of the worst in my life, but thankfully that has sense recovered. Unfortunately, immediately after seeing the funding reversal all hell broke loose in my life and it was the last thing on my mind. I've only used this card for my tax refund and the stimulus, so it wasn't on my mind to check on a regular basis like I do my other accounts, especially seeing there was no money in it. I noticed there was a charge that said "Funding Reversal" on my account, but I figured I would let it sit a couple days and then come back to it, to see if it would sort itself out. I really do not like the shady business of having you sign up for the card like they are going to give you the money if you meet the refund amount needed for x amount to be given up front, and then they denied me, with no way to change to another deposit method after finding out I wasn't approved.īack in April when we got the stimulus checks, which was deposited into my TurboTax Debit Card account, I signed up for Liberty Mutual insurance. I signed up for the TurboTax prepaid card because like most people I was hurting for cash and was hoping to get the pre-funding before you got your tax refund deposit.
